Can you replace Entune with Android auto? So what going to do is first. Select the 2020 model year, and newer Toyota vehicles are now compatible with Android Auto. Connecting your Android smartphone to an Android Auto fit Toyota vehicle is quick and seamless. First, make sure that your Android phone is running 5.0 Lollipop or higher, and you have the Android Auto app installed from Google Play. Upon opening the app, you will have to agree to the terms and follow the steps on the screen to give Android Auto permission to access your phone’s features and apps.
- Go to the Bluetooth menu on your phone. On Bluetooth.
- Press menu in the Entune 3.0 system.
- Go to the setup -> Bluetooth
- Give Yes for message
- now you’ll see your phone pop up here and select it.
Other Settings to Replace Entune with Android auto
You’ll get a couple of messages that pop up on your phone. One is a parent requested, give okay one will be a contact transfer, one will be a messaging transfer, and you’re going to hit allow on both of them. That’s it. You’re all paired up. So you can go home on your phone and then everything is paired up here. And you can go to your phone menu, which is over that will bring up all your contacts.
There’s a dial pad, if you don’t have a contact stored, you can view a text messaging and everything. You can also go to the Bluetooth audio system.
